Vegas Best Extensions uses solely hairlocs system.
There are many essential factors we consider before working on your hair such as : your natural hair flow (hair stream) to prevent any discomfort and damage, your natural hair color, texture and your skin tone in order to creat a natural looking hair, the way it moves, style, feel, and blend.
How does the hairlocs method work?
Individual human hair strands are attached to your own hair by mini color coated copper cylinders called LOCS.

Why this is the best method available?
For many reasons, such as:
1-It does not require using adhesives like keratin or glue on your hair, nor the solvent chemicals to remove them. Removing those adhesives is an agony, especially for fine or fragile hair; it is inevitable to pull some of your hair along with it. See the difference below:

2-When hair locs are done right, there should not be any tension or pulling as you will experience in braids,wefts,or glued wigs which may cause "tension alopecia".

3-Unlike other methods, because of the different sizes and colors of locs available, you can get the hair extensions applied on top, crown, temples, or bangs undetected. (Note: placing the locs in the same direction of hair stream is crucial to achieve that). (See pic below)

4-Maintenance is simple and safe, we simply open the locs with a special tool, detangle, remove the naturally shedded hair, move up the extension strand and close the loc again.
5-This method is ideal for fine hair, damaged hair, or short hair because we can apply the hair extensions on hair as short as 1"; This is good news for women who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.
6-Unlike most other methods, you can reuse the hair for 1 to 2 years.
What are the restrictions of hairlocs method?
Mostly limited to avoid using oily substances on scalp including conditioner, pomade, and serum. VBE will provide clients with an easy to follow instructions sheet on how to wash,dry and style your hair. You will also get a list of recommended products to use.
What is the cost?
It varies largely depending on the number of hair strands we add,length,texture, and how detailed is the job.

Can hair locs extensions damage my hair?
There should NOT be any damage if the following factors are applied: using the right tools, section the hair and applying the extensions correctly, following the natural hair flow, avoid getting too close to scalp, no pulling during brushing, and avoiding hot tools as much as possible(Ceramic roller set are ideal for styling extensions).
Can I reuse the hair extensions?
Yes, unlike most other methods, you can reuse the hair for 1 to 2 years when maintained properly. Eventually, overall cost is less using this method because you do not trash the hair extensions every time you maintain them.
Can I color or highlight my hair?
Yes, you can retouch on regrowth of your hair. It is preferable to avoid applying color on hair extensions.
What can go wrong with extensions?
Imitation products applied by uncertified stylist may get you a lower price for extensions, but you may also encounter two categories of problems:
A-Unauthentic materials:
The hair may not be full cuticle hair (Remy hair), because it is less labor intense to produce non-cuticle hair, thus lower cost, but it mats easily; Besides, copper locs may be replaced by brass or aluminum locs, these locs “chip” frequently (i.e. they lose the coat).In addition, using tools other than hairlocs, may cut the hair if they are not filed (sharp edges); some applicators” fold” the loc, that is unsafe for hair.

B- Inexperienced stylist:
In any field, and even more in extensions business, Knowledge and experience are at most importance; that reflects in the following sections of extensions business:
1-Matching the color, which most likely requires coloring your hair and even it out to blend with the desired color of extensions. In most cases, it is required to create a blend of colors to create an image that can be “natural looking” not only when the extensions are applied, but also till you are ready for maintenance a couple months later.

2-Matching the texture in the first place is crucial; getting the right texture will blend your hair with extensions, and make your hair easy to wear and low maintenance. If the texture is different, you will need to spend more time on styling your hair.
3-The extensions must be placed in a way to follow the hair stream (or hair flow), every person has his/her pattern.
When this point is not considered, your hair will be under uneven strain at the loc section, causing more shedding at one side of loc.
Other common mistakes are: when locs are placed too high or too close to hair line; also if they are applied too close to the scalp, this causes the strands to stick out and causes tension on follicle, thus more shedding. (See examples below):

4-Cutting hair extensions right is what makes the whole image; there is nothing more unnatural than blunt cutting the strands. Hair strands are lighter and thinner at ends than at scalp, this fact should be respected in color and cut.
